How do I care for my jewellery?

How durable is your Gold Vermeil jewellery?
We plate all our jewellery with 5-micron thick 18k gold, which is considered a high-quality gold plating. The thickness of the plating affects the durability and longevity of the gold layer on the jewellery.
We pride ourselves in providing you with the highest quality jewellery by plating our sterling silver pieces with a 5-micron thickness, compared to the industry standard, which is as low as 2.5-micron thickness to be classified as 'gold vermeil'.
Gold vermeil jewellery provides a luxurious and high-end appearance, similar to solid gold making it a highly attractive option for those who want the look and feel of solid gold without the exorbitant price tag.

Where are Nusands pieces made?
All of our pieces are uniquely designed in Australia by our founders, and individually handcrafted and manufactured in Bali, Indonesia by highly-skilled artisans. We proudly support and provide consistent career opportunities to the locals across Indonesia, including Java and Bali. Our founders work closely with the Indonesian artisans during each step of the manufacturing process to ensure the highest quality products.

How long does shipping take?
Shipping times may vary depending on your location. Typically, standard shipping across Australia takes approximately between 3-8 business days and 10-18 business days for international deliveries. If you need your order sooner, we also offer an express shipping option with faster delivery times displayed at checkout.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order is shipped you will be provided with the tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your order and stay updated on its delivery status.
Do you offer gift packaging?
Yes. We offer complimentary gift packaging for all orders. Each piece of jewellery is carefully packaged in our Nusands collector's box and/or pouch, making it ready for gifting or personal enjoyment!
Can I cancel or modify my order?
We understand that circumstances may change. If you need to cancel or modify your order, please contact our customer support team at admin@nusands.com as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that once your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled or modified.
